Position DescriptionnThe Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, WTC Pulmonary Disease Research Project, is seeking a volunteer to fill an open Academic and Research Assistant position.

Responsibilities include:

    n

  • Interacting with patients

    • n

  • Managing and entering data into the database

    • n

  • Extracting clinical data from charts

    • n

  • Preparing documents and/or slides

    • n

  • Drafting reports

    • n

  • Assisting with bibliographic searches, lecture preparation, and other administrative support tasks

    • n

Position Requirements

    n

  • Bachelor’s degree

    • n

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel, Word, and Powerpoint)

    • n

  • Interest and/or experience in clinical research support and data management a plus

    • n

  • Being bilingual in Spanish is a plus

    • n

  • Master’s degree a plus

    • n

Time CommitmentnPart-time, 15 hours per week (minimum) starting in September 2022.
